Julia Spellman is an award-winning Ukrainian-born actress, professional aerialist, pole artist, model, voice actor, singer, choreographer, and certified instructor based in Toronto, Canada. Combining a background in theatre, screen acting, dance, and circus arts, she has built a multidisciplinary career spanning live entertainment, film, television, fashion, commercial productions, and digital media.

Julia began pole journey over 11 years ago, quickly developing a passion for movement, artistry, and athletic performance. She later expanded into aerial arts, training extensively in aerial hammock, silks, hoop (lyra), lollipop lyra, trapeze, aerial chains, and aerial pole. Today, she is recognized for her versatility, performing everything from elegant ambient entertainment to high-energy theatrical productions, always blending technical precision with expressive storytelling.

She holds a Theatre Acting degree from Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts and later graduated from George Brown College's Acting for Media program in Toronto, where she trained in screen acting, commercial performance, film production, and professional voice-over. Her voice training includes commercial and narrative voice acting, and she is comfortable performing a wide range of characters, vocal styles, and accents for animation, commercials, film, video games, and digital media. Julia is also an alto vocalist who writes her own music and lyrics, continuing to develop original creative projects alongside her performance career.

In 2026, Julia won Gold in the Professional Aerial Hammock division at the Canadian Pole & Aerial Championship, one of Canada's premier aerial competitions. She has also served as a competition judge and continues to contribute to the aerial community through coaching, workshops, choreography, and mentorship. As a certified pole instructor with years of teaching experience, she works with students of all levels, helping them build strength, confidence, flexibility, artistry, and technical excellence.

Julia has performed for luxury brands, corporate events, galas, weddings, concerts, festivals, fashion productions, nightclubs, film and television productions, music videos, and private events throughout Canada. Her repertoire includes pole dance, aerial hammock, silks, hoop, LED aerial hoop, lollipop lyra, LED lollipop, trapeze, aerial chains, LED aerial pole, fire performance, fire aerial hoop, aerial bartending, synchronized acts, and duo aerial performances. Every act is tailored to the event, creating unforgettable visual experiences that combine elegance, athleticism, and theatrical storytelling.

Beyond performing, Julia is a multidisciplinary creative who enjoys every aspect of production. She directed her own short film, writes original music and lyrics, and has hands-on experience with video editing, lighting, sound equipment, production support, and visual design. She also designs and handcrafts many of her own costumes and jewelry, allowing every performance to reflect her artistic vision from concept to execution.
